Description: Sun-dried Tomato Paté, with Sicilian Extra Virgin Olive Oil from Nocellara del Belice. A spreadable cream with an intense, typically Mediterranean flavor. The product is available in a 200 g glass jar.

 

Below is a focus on Sun-dried Tomato Paté.

 

Ingredients: Sun-dried tomato (80%), green olives, extra virgin olive oil, parsley, oregano, fennel, garlic, chili pepper, salt. Acidity regulator: Lactic acid (0.1%).

 

Characteristics: The sun-dried tomato paté has a vibrant color, matching its flavor. In fact, the fleshy Sicilian sun-dried tomato has a persistent and intense taste, accompanied by the delicate extra virgin oil from Nocellara del Belice and the aromas of chili, garlic, fennel, and oregano. The skillful combination of these ingredients enhances the sun-dried tomato cream, without overpowering its flavor. In perfect balance, the sensory composition (smell and taste) of this paté is typically Mediterranean and Sicilian.

 

Processing: After harvesting, the tomato is left to dry, then processed by hand until the cream is obtained. All ingredients, including extra virgin oil, are added to complete the preparation. Finally, it is packaged.

 

Shelf life: 18 months

 

Storage: Avoid exposing the jar to heat sources or direct light. Once opened, store in the fridge.

 

Pairings: The sun-dried tomato paté has an intense flavor and is already an excellent condiment for bread, crostini, or bruschetta. It can also be used to flavor sauces, first and second courses. For example, a recommended first course is pasta with shrimp and sun-dried tomato paté.
